CLASS DESCRIPTION

In our class we will learn how to properly open and close rings and how to follow four basic patterns. We will advance each student as they acquire each new weaving skill and will intend to complete a minimum of four chain projects. With this knowledge, the student will be able to advance to the more complex patterns with ease.

Each student should bring 2 chain nose pliers (also available at the Wm. Holland store) and a spirit willing to learn and work together. We will learn the basic chaining weaves and how to properly finish the works so they remain sturdy attractive for the wearer. We will make several pairs of earrings to compliment the bracelets and necklace we will make.

This is a fun class but requires some patience as students learn to manipulate the rings into proper positions. It's NOT difficult and the results are stunning pieces that will garner many compliments as you wear the finished pieces. You will have fun saying, "Yes I really did make that!" I'm looking forward to a full class

Lab Fee: The class fee is $35.00 for each student and includes instruction, instructional materials, and the silver rings for the first project. Materials for the rest of the projects will be available for purchase from the instructor. The student should expect to spend around $150-200.00 in class purchases depending on the number of projects completed.

Maximum No. of Students: 8

Pre-requisite: None
