Rowan has been doing wirecraft
jewelry since 1994. Rowan was a member of the Gem and Mineral Society
of the Virginia Peninsula, Hampton, VA for over 20 years and is
now a charter member. She is also a member of the Kingsport Gem
and Mineral Society, Kingsport, TN and teaches one-on-one classes
in the area. One of Rowan's designs was published in and on the
cover of the September 2002 Wire Artist Magazine and featured in
the December 2003/January 2004 issue. She does cabbing, creating
many of her own stones to wrap. She has been teaching at William
Holland since 1998 and has taught both beginners and advanced wirecraft.
CLASS DESCRIPTION
The class projects will have
an emphasis on pronged pendants and rings using faceted stones plus
bracelets and other projects as time allows.
CLASS FEE - $25.00. Average fee
for wire, tools and supplies is $75.00 - $150.00
Maximum Number of Students: 7
Pre-requisite: Wire I class and
one year of practice. Students must be able to wrap with square
wire.
